Diva is a term used by the professional wrestling promotion World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) to refer to its female talent. The term is applied to women who appear as wrestlers, managers or valets, backstage interviewers, or ring announcers. Various Divas have posed in Playboy, and others have appeared in commercials for WWE and non-WWE products as well as men's interest magazines. The WWE divas who have posed in Playboy include: Rena Lesnar aka Sable (1999), Joanie Laurer aka Chyna (2000 and 2002), Torrie Wilson (2003), Torrie Wilson and Sable (2004), Christy Hemme (2005), Candica Michelle (2006), Ashley Massaro (2007) and Maria Kanellis (2008).
